We came to Resurrection Wellness after being pushed to our limit following a diagnosis from Children’s Hospital.
Our youngest daughter, Linzie, had been battling numerous health issues since nearly birth after being delivered prematurely— asthma, eczema, a weak immune system, allergies, constant congestion, and more. She was hospitalized several times before the age of five, and doctor visits became a regular part of our lives. She was prescribed many medications over the years.
She also had a lump on the back of her neck that would come and go. Doctors told us it was likely due to steroid use for her asthma at such a young age. Regardless of the cause, it was always uncomfortable for her.
The summer after her 6th grade year, a new issue arose. At first, we thought it was simply an injury from playing with friends. But Linzie began experiencing constant pain—in her back, arms, and legs. It brought many tears and significantly impacted her ability to be active.
What started as daily Tylenol and ibuprofen turned into high doses of naproxen, as prescribed by her doctor. Eventually, we were referred to a specialist at Children’s Hospital, where Linzie underwent multiple MRIs.
That’s when we received a terrifying diagnosis: CNO.
In that moment, we all went numb. Doctors began discussing treatment plans that included infusions lasting six months or more. While they told us it was treatable, they couldn’t clearly answer questions about long-term effects or explain why Linzie didn’t show certain markers typically associated with the illness.
Things just weren’t lining up.
Through it all, we strongly felt that God was speaking to us—that this diagnosis was not what it seemed. The fear was very real, especially for Linzie, but we left that appointment holding onto faith and a deep sense that we should not rush into a treatment that was being presented as urgent.
A few weeks later, while attending our oldest daughter’s baby shower as we celebrated the upcoming arrival of our first granddaughter, we received a life-changing referral. Our daughter’s mother-in-law shared the story of a baby who had experienced incredible healing through a provider who took a holistic approach—seeking the root cause rather than just treating symptoms.
That referral led us to Resurrection Wellness and Christy Richards.
We first met with Christy at the end of October, and after that initial meeting, we felt confident we were making the right decision for Linzie. What we didn’t realize at the time was just how life-changing that decision would be.
While our initial goal was to address the CNO diagnosis, what followed went far beyond that. It truly felt like God’s plan was to bring healing to everything Linzie had been battling since birth.
Through Christy’s knowledge and guidance, Linzie didn’t just stop relying on pain medications—her entire health profile transformed.
Her breathing issues? Resolved.
The lump on her neck? Gone.
She experienced a growth spurt, healthy weight loss, and no longer struggles with allergies.
She is now fully active again—without pain or limitation.
Christy helped us learn how to truly listen to Linzie’s body, uncover what was actually affecting her, and address it through proper nutrition and targeted supplement support.
This isn’t wishful thinking—these are real, lasting results.
It has now been about six months since we started, and Linzie is living a full, normal teenage life—completely free of pain.
We are beyond grateful and excited to continue this journey, not just for Linzie, but for our entire family, with Christy and Resurrection Wellness. -Jennifer F.
